About Bri
Bri LaHaie CBD (CBI) is a certified birth + postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and lactation counselor. She started pursuing her passion for birth while living overseas in the Middle East. In the midst of supporting refugees in an incredibly vulnerable time of their lives, she gained a passion for advocacy and education.
Why “After Eden”?
I believe that the birth experience exemplifies many parallels to the Biblical narrative. The garden of Eden is where God intended us to have intimate and beautiful relationship with Himself. This was the start of holistic care! His care for us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Yet in our choosing separation, women were handed the consequence of pain in childbirth. So where does that leave us now after Eden? What does it look like to submit to the pain yet still rejoice in the labor? My joy is to step into these conversations with you.
Doula Services
I strongly believe that conversation is the key to the birth you want. Conversation with others, caregivers, and your doula. Part of my role will be stepping into these conversations with you as you discern your desires for these first steps of motherhood!
